Two Decades of Shaping the World of Art

For the past 20 years, I've been quietly building digital worlds that millions have experienced on screens—from lively animated characters to immersive game environments. (Immersive experience refers to a powerful form of digital environment that breaks down boundaries between physical and experiential presence.) As a specialist in 3D modelling and digital sculpting, I'm known in the industry for my sharp eye for detail and my knack for turning raw ideas into lifelike creations.

Today, I bring all that experience into the classroom as a faculty member at the ICAT College of Design and Media in Chennai, where I mentor the next generation of designers and animators. To me, teaching isn't a step away from the industry-it's my way of shaping its future.

Crafting characters and worlds

Over these two decades, I've worked across animation, gaming, and film, creating high-quality 3D models that drive visual storytelling. A deep grasp of anatomy, textures, and form, lets me design characters and environments that feel utterly natural and believable.

In this fast-evolving field, I've stayed ahead by constantly honing my skills. My expertise with tools like ZBrush, Blender, and Maya allows me to deliver work that's as visually stunning as it is technically flawless.

My career highlights include stints at renowned studios like Sparky Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Darkbox Studio based in Singapore. At Sparky, I contributed to animated films and TV projects, focusing on character design and environment modelling. My attention to detail helped elevate the studio's overall visual polish.

Later, at Darkbox Studio, I tackled projects that stretched the limits of creativity and technology in animation and game design. My work in character modelling and sculpting played a key role in crafting those immersive digital realms.

After years in production, I decided to pass on my knowledge to young artists. Now at the ICAT College of Design and Media, I teach students not just the software, but the creative thinking behind great design. I blend real-world industry insights with hands-on lessons, helping them master both the artistry and the tech of 3D work.

My teaching mirrors my own path: rooted in solid fundamentals, yet always embracing innovation. As Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) transform the creative world, I'm excited to dive into these new tools and trends alongside my students.

Looking ahead

Even after 20 years, I'm nowhere near slowing down. Whether sculpting complex digital figures or guiding tomorrow's designers, I'm dedicated to pushing 3D art to new heights. In this ever-changing industry, my journey proves that skill, curiosity, and passion can transform imagination into vibrant, breathing digital worlds.
